St8 of Mine is a five piece melody driven metal band from Laingsburg, Michigan. Formed in high school in the late 90’s early 2000’s they reached some success getting to play with Black Label Society and Suicidal Tendencies along with others in Detroit at Harpo’s and other venues. After a hiatus and the departing of a few members they were reformed in 2010 with a new sense of purpose. Steve ( vocals ) Matt ( rhythm guitar ) Corey ( bass ) Shawn ( lead guitar, backing vocals ) and Mike ( drums ) have come back on the scene taking 2nd place in Lansing’s own Q106FM Home Grown Throwdown 3 consecutive years. They have had the opportunity to recently play with Saliva, Bobaflex, Bam Margera, Zach Meyers ( shinedown ), Rains, and many others in the local scene as well. Having recently played at Flint’s own “ The Machine Shop “, St8 of Mine is looking to push the tide of badassery with the soon release of their EP and more shows in other parts of the state.
